A “Toque” is a little hat without brim. With a turned up brim you get a densely felted docker cap. The not turned up version was very popular in the Renaissance, also reminding of the roaring twenties.
Kopka has developed a beautiful avant-garde item, made from knitted, tightly felted wool. Wear it as a Cloche hat or turn up the brim like a sailor's beanie!
